Endless Cycle of Time (Mixed Media)

Description:
A 40-second animation that explores the concept of “Time is cycling, the only passing subject is us”. By combining generative arts of ocean wave movements(using p5.js), hand-drawn animation of a clock with a figure walking, and the various natural sounds displayed by multi-channel speakers, I want to create an immersive environment for the audience to experience the relationship between human and the nature.

Inspiration/concept:
I want to create a representation of ocean wave movement according to the amplitude of the music source (using Perlin noise).
I want to find a way to combine the music notes and visuals to enhance people’s engagement and appreciation when listening to the music piece.
Description:
Credit: The music source was from my friend’s original music piece( “ocean waves” by alm)
Particles representing water will move in a random pattern according to the perlin noise function and amplitude of the sound file. The speed of movement will increase if the music sound increases and the the color of the water particles will change randomly among different light-blue colors.
